Building Diminished 7th chords from Dominant 7th chords

By raising the root of any dominant chord we arrive at the diminished 7th chord.

In the first diagram we have a four string G7th chord whose root lies on the 1st string (R)

Moving only the first string from the 3rd fret to the 4th fret we form the G#dim7 chord.

Next we have the G7 whose root lies on the  4th string (second example). Moving from the 4th string 5th fret to the 4th string 6th fret we form the G#dim7 chord.

Continue moving the roots on the remaining two diagrams up one fret to form another G#dim7 chord.
